Cheeky bastage :lol

Up to 68 percent victory, only killed one ltracktor ( from same type of crappy tank ) and died 4 times in the few matches so far. Not figured out gunnery yet, my one kill was a corner shot with a lot of luck. I have been TKd twice by "elitist" dudes in medium tanks and also shot a few enemy tanks down by 20-30 percent then a teamy in a medium/heavy finished them off :chin: .

You can cap a lot of points/xp by being on the winning side and capping the enemy base ( lots of folk just speed in for the glory at the end, the buggers! )

I don't think I would pay to play the game, a bit arcady and unlike Red Orchestra the 3/4 facing the enemy doesn't seem to work ( valid and realistic armour tactic IRL ) , stil, I'll keep going to get a decent medium tank, figure out the gunnery and arty/scouting etc.

Managed 2 games. Noy bad. Have to see how it goes. Interesting when there's only a couple of you left and you have no idea where the other tank is.

I still play once in a while. Think I'm still on the third tier or something.

I've just downloaded this, and on first play it looks good.

I don't quite get it though, I though mmo's were turn based, whereas this seems like an FPS, which suprises me.

Crashed as well, but I guess it is still a beta?

Once you get into it, it really becomes an excellent game, once you get to a Tier 3, it really gets good. Definately a FPS, with perhaps a touch of MMO.

Its not beta and I have to say, ive not heard of any crashes since last year when it was beta. ( went live around April if I recall ) I suggest you just recheck your PC or perhaps settings. I runs very well and dont think many have had that many problems with it. Are you running it in a window? I used to find it used to crash when it was beta when I flicked back to windows back and forth a few times from the game, but that was ages ago now. If you need any tips, just ask. Weve written a simple starter guide on our forums which might help you, but here is a direct link to a shorter version...

Hi chaps...

Do any of you still play World of Tanks ? I've kind of falled for it big time and am throughly enjoying it... in between a bit of Day of Defeat..

There have been some huge updates to this now and its really evolved. Give it a whirl...

On the back of this ( slightly off topic ) I have also been getting into a simular game, but plane based.. called War Thunder ( Slightly better than World of Planes ).

All of which are Free.
