A 22-year-old man has been arrested after an eight-hour police siege at a flat in the west end of Glasgow.

Police were called to Dumbarton Road at 0730 BST after reports that a man had barricaded himself inside following a domestic incident.


My son and a few of his friends didn't get into school until 9.30 am due to the diversion. Beats taking an old lady across the road and "I thought it was Saturday" :lol

A collapse of the current industrial system is surely inevitable,

Not as long as there are underdeveloped people to exploit, and wars can be fought in places no one in the industrial world cares about. When that stops being a possibility (not very likely for the next few decades), the system will either adapt or create those possibilities in new places. That's neither a nice nor neat outlook, but it's the way the world has run for the past 60 years - the mood right now is a lot more somber than it was ~10 years ago, but the reality of it hasn't changedmuch.

And don't say JB ... I can't ... it's the latest FW

Everything up to 4.0.1 can be JB'ed with jailbreakme.com (which also fixes the pdf exploit that makes the JB possible in first place ^^)
There won't be a 4.0.2 JB (as it's a minor update which mostly removes the pdf exploit)
4.1 JB is due to release soon, and on top of that they found a bootROM exploit yesterday...
